Alvaro Garcia Ordoñez is an abstract mixed media artist whose work overflows with color and his brush strokes draw viewers into his world. Ordoñez uses water in his paintings to further develop each piece. He visualizes the water as a “healing process” where the water transforms the piece and becomes the power behind the artwork. It is the element that brings each piece together. The colors dissolving in water evolve into patterns and shapes that float and bring forth a visual tranquility.
